Overview

Provide compassionate care in an unconventional setting. Nurses who work in corrections practice a wide range of nursing skills in an unconventional setting. They play an important part of the rehabilitation process by helping patients in custody achieve independence and self-care. This helps increase the chance of a patient leaving custody successfully re-entering the community.

Opportunities

We have the following nursing opportunities available :

  • Nurse Practitioner: 6 permanent, full-time positions (salary range: $57.07 - $72.93 per hour)
  • Mental Health Nurse: 2 permanent, full-time and 4 temporary, 6-month casual / irregularly scheduled positions (salary range: $42.10 - $60.46 per hour)
  • Registered Nurse: 3 permanent, full-time and 13 temporary, 6-month casual / irregularly scheduled positions (salary range: $39.07 - $56.00 per hour)
  • Registered Practical Nurse: 7 temporary, 6-month casual / irregularly scheduled position (salary range: $31.50 - $34.45 per hour)
