Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing Technician for its Winnipeg site. The role involves performing inspections and tests on various materials to ensure conformance to specifications. Candidates should possess a technical diploma and experience in NDT, holding CGSB Level 2 certification in Ultrasonic testing is preferred. Qualifications

  • Physical ability to lift and manipulate parts up to 30 lbs.
  • Completed 2-year technical diploma or CGSB Level 2 Written and Practical exams in UT (Ultrasonic).
  • Legally able to work in Canada and handle US export-controlled data.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nondestructive inspections and tests of production and developmental processes.
  • Maintain test data and determine material conformance to specifications.
  • Instruct lower classified employees in conducting nondestructive inspections.

Skills

Physical ability to stand for duration of a shift
Experience in Non-destructive Testing (NDT)
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Certification in CGSB Level 2 UT

Education

2-year technical diploma through CGSB Authorized Training Organization
