A leading certification body is looking for an NDT Technical Specialist to oversee examination processes and provide technical expertise for NDT certifications. This remote position requires at least 10 years of NDT Technician experience and relevant certifications. Responsibilities include planning certification exams, auditing submissions, and promoting the certification body. The role also involves working closely with various technical committees and requires excellent communication skills and the ability to travel as needed.

The NDT Technical Specialist is responsible for the oversight of Recognized Training Organizations (RTOs) and Approved Exam Centres (AECs) and will act as a technical expert for CWB’s NDT Certification Body (CB) supporting the development and management of both practical and written examinations. In this position they develop, document and maintain relevant processes and procedures in accordance with established standards and CWB Group work policies. The NDT Technical Specialist would also further development of other NDT techniques or method certifications and provide support in reviewing parity or other NDT CBs. They may represent CWB Group on relevant industry technical committees. They may travel within Canada, the United States, Mexico, South America or overseas.

This position reports to the Director of NDT Certification and primarily works remotely from their home office in Canada. CWB has adopted a remote-first working model, where employees will work from their home office, servicing the client within their specified areas either remotely or in person.
