As a National HCM Consultant, you’ll leverage our training programs and service guidelines to solve clients’ challenges and fuel business success. You will work with clients who have 1,000+ employees and carry the weight of ADP’s service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands.
The daily work remains centered on helping clients when they reach out. Each day will bring new questions and solutions, supported by our training to set you up for success.

What you’ll do
Responsibilities
- Serve as a consultant, servicing all modules of ADP’s HCM software solution, ADP WorkforceNow.
- Use your breadth of expertise to support ADP’s clients.
- Work to resolve issues and identify solutions through root cause analysis using effective communication and analytical skills.
What you can expect on a typical day
- Be the client’s Go-To Person and Trusted Advisor.
- Be a Networker and Relationship Builder.
- Build relationships with clients and leverage knowledge of ADP’s products and services to provide solutions to issues and questions. Help clients understand our product value and exceed expectations in all interactions.
- Provide recommendations to ADP leadership around best practices, product and support process enhancements based on client input.
- Continually upgrade knowledge to stay familiar with applicable statutory laws or rulings that impact clients.
Qualifications
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer service environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in post-secondary education and experience (preferably in business and/or human resources management).
- A strong focus on client satisfaction in a relevant industry or as a payroll/HR practitioner with systems experience.
Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualifications
- Up to 1 year of professional consulting experience or equivalent with software applications, software configuration, and client systems.
- Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking in Human Capital Management areas (HR, Payroll, Time and Labour, etc.).
- Basic understanding of payroll processing workflow from input to delivery. Payroll Certification is an asset.
- Active listening and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Initiative to seek out answers and deliver positive outcomes for both client and ADP.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up timely.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment as well as work independently with resourcefulness in using available tools and resources.
