Job summary

A local community museum in Woodstock is seeking Summer Students to assist with various roles, including Summer Camp Assistant and Visitor Services. The ideal candidates will enjoy working with children and have strong customer relations skills. This position offers a schedule of 35 hours per week and various responsibilities to enhance community engagement with local history. Candidates must be returning to school and have relevant experience or interests in history.

Qualifications

• Skills in First Aid and CPR.
• Experience in database management, research, writing, or photography.
• Volunteer experience in a museum or library is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a supportive camp experience for kids.
• Oversee camp programs and greet parents.
• Welcome visitors and assist with operations.
• Conduct research and install exhibits.
