A facilities management company is seeking a Mobile Facilities Technician in Canada. This role involves maintaining operational integrity at various sites, performing inspections, and managing maintenance tasks. Candidates should have experience in facilities management and a valid driver's license. The position offers a starting pay range of $33.51-$35.51/hour based on skills and experience.
The Mobile Facilities Technician will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity and safety of designated locations, supporting the customer service experience across multiple BC Hydro and Black & McDonald sites from Prince George to Price Rupert, Bella Coola and north to Dease Lake. This position is responsible for attending service calls, conducting building inspections, initiating corrective work orders, performing light preventive maintenance (PMs), and coordinating with external service providers (Suppliers). The technician acts as a liaison between Black & McDonald and BC Hydro District Office Managers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of facilities-related issues using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
The Mobile Technician will support the coordination of preventative maintenance tasks and inspections for all building systems and services, and corrective repairs as required to ensure continued availability of the building spaces. The Mobile Technician will use their experience and technical skills along with our CMMS system to support our high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $33.51-$35.51/hour dependent on skills and experience.
