Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.

Job description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Plan, organize, manage and coordinate the activities of mobile equipment involved in production
• Help plan the mechanical maintenance of vehicles
• May lead a mixed trade or specialists’ team
• Work with a range of equipment, vehicles.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and planned shutdowns, as per vendor specifications.
• Ensure planned and ad hoc repairs are executed to keep all equipment running smoothly
• Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety
• Plan, prepare and perform follow-ups of health and safety activities such as joint inspections, risk analyses and incident/accident reports
• Solve problems related to your area of activity and recommend measures to improve departmental productivity
• Ensure the proper functioning of all activities and compliance with procedures
• Manage personnel, evaluate performance and see to employee development
• Keep records on production and write reports
• Ensure the proper management of operating expenses
• All other related tasks
