The Microsoft Power Platform Developer is responsible for architecting, developing and supporting solutions adhering to established best practices and guidelines supported by the Four Seasons\' Enterprise Architecture team. This position will be accountable for managing internal / external development groups in the analysis, design, development, implementation and support of business applications to ensure and maintain alignment with business strategies. This Contract role is based in Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario, reporting to the Director of Corporate System. This role involves interactions with primarily internal stakeholders at various levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Activities/ What You\'ll Be Doing

Functional Requirement Documentation:

  • Working directly with application sponsors, gather and document end user requirements for solutions targeted in Office 365 (O365)

Architecting, planning, development and support of O365 solutions:

  • Leverage Power Platform, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, to provide out-of-box solutions for both Corporate and Hotel entities
  • Provide custom solutions in the O365 leveraging PnP, SharePoint API, Microsoft Graph API
  • Where required, re-architect and migrate existing SharePoint 2013 process to O365
  • Follow standards coding standards established by Four Seasons, including adhering to the Enterprise Architecture team\'s recommendations of platform selection and code management
  • Provide end user support for solutions in O365

Vendor Management:

  • Maintain relationships with outside consultants and development companies
  • Provide detailed functional requirements
  • Work with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of functional requirements

Automation:

  • Using PowerShell PnP, provide automations to support Teams, OneDrive user management, and other needs related to 0365

Technical Skills and Experience

  • Deep understanding of O365 technologies including Power Platform , Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of VSCODE or comparable development environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Connectors
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse.
  • Working knowledge of AZURE DEVOPS

Experience, Education and Professional Qualifications / What You Bring

  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience providing custom solutions in O365
  • University degree in Computer Science of Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience in leading multiple, concurrent, large-scale releases and teams covering design, development, implementation and support
  • Experience with providing solutions that require integration with enterprise level solutions such as Service Now, Workday and Azure Directory.
  • Proven DevOps experience demonstrating improved collaboration across IT teams, accelerate deploy cycles, and deliver better experiences with this modern software development methodology.
  • Experienced on enterprise scale SharePoint implementation and migration
  • Proven ability to learn new businesses and technologies
  • Ability to manage and execution against project plan and delivery commitments
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to deal with colleagues at all levels
  • Formal training SharePoint REST API, MS GRAPH API, PowerShell PnP
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps or comparable code repository management solution

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
