Overview
The Membership Development Coordinator is a role crucial to both the membership growth and retention efforts at the Northern Regional Construction Association (NRCA). This individual will assist in membership development activities and other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Membership Development:
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase membership within the NRCA.
- Support outreach initiatives to identify and engage potential members.
- Aid in organizing presentations and informational meetings to showcase NRCA membership benefits.
- Help monitor and analyze membership trends and reports to enhance strategic planning.
Member Engagement
- Support the coordination of member events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Serve as primary contact for member inquiries, ensuring responsive and high-quality service.
- Participate in the creation and delivery of engagement programs to boost member interaction and satisfaction.
Education and Event Support
- Assist in promoting and organizing NRCA’s educational programs and member events.
- Help with registration processes and attendee communications for workshops and seminars.
Member Retention
- Contribute to the development of member retention strategies and initiatives.
- Assist in gathering member feedback through surveys and direct communications to inform service improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Some post-secondary in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in sales, business development or customer service is beneficial.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Information
- Hourly Wage: $21
- Weekly Hours: 15-20 Hours, additional hours as needed
- 7 Days of Paid Time Off; 5 Sick Days pre annum
- Private health spending account in lieu of benefits
- Office Location: Prince George, BC
