Role: Cloud Software Engineer

You, the ideal candidate, will enjoy the challenge of designing, building and maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure that supports a wide variety of applications and CI/CD pipelines. You will contribute to the foundation that our teams depend on every day, ensuring scalability, resilience, and a great developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of all infrastructure.

• Developing Infrastructure as Code that is easily maintained and extensible.

• Collaborating with Security, Compliance, Development and QA teams.

• Documenting as you go.

• Collaborating with the team on evaluation and implementation of frameworks and tools to help with development and improve quality.

• Participating in on-call rotation to ensure uptime of critical infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 2-4 years working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)

• Proficiency with IaC tooling (Terraform, CDK or similar)

• Proficiency with a scripting language (bash, node, python etc)

• Comfortable working in Linux shell environments

• Experience creating and troubleshooting container images

• Experience working with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, etc)

• Committed to continuous learning (cloud certificates are a plus)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• FinTech domain experience

Salary

This position has a salary range of 102,500–128,100 CAD Annual
