We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Mechanical Technologist . The role of Mechanical Technologist reports to the Production Manager. Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to) :

• Assembly of products using standard shop procedures, mechanical drawings, and other written or verbal instructions.
• Assemble and test precision high-reliability electro-mechanical products and prototypes.
• Perform repairs on production equipment.
• Provide input of design requirements and drawings.
• Provide input to specifications and procedures.
• Accountable for mechanical portions of system or tooling building.
• Participates in the commissioning of prototype and production machines.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Key Skill Requirements :

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

Strong multi-tasker

Experience in Microsoft applications, computer software and hardware

Key Experience / Education :

3-5 years’ experience in tooling and mechanical equipment is preferred

Mechanical Technologist diploma or equivalent is required

A mechanical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical drawings and bills of materials is required

Knowledge of quality control tools is required

Experience building and soldering wire assemblies is an asset
