A leading forest products company is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Castlegar, BC. The role involves developing maintenance strategies and managing major maintenance plans to ensure reliable operations. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, be registered with a Canadian Engineering Association, and possess a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the pulp and paper industry. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible to develop and implement Asset Maintenance Strategies that ensure the reliable performance of our operating plants, reduce or eliminate production losses due to equipment failures, and to provide technical support and leadership to Celgar Operations.
The salary for this position is $91,000.00 - $155,000.00. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
