Job details

We are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to our R&D team in La Salle, MB. At Tank Traders we are aiming to maintain our competitive edge within the industry and are developing a new product to introduce to the market. We want you to be part of it. As part of our Research & Development team, you’ll play a critical role in both the development of this product and in upgrading the processes needed to support it. This role provides the opportunity to see work move from a 3D model to a fully realized product, directly contributing to the future of our company. What you’ll do in the role
  • Drive the mechanical design of innovative new products and production lines, from initial concept to final manufacturing-ready designs.
  • Create, analyze, and present detailed 3D CAD models (SolidWorks) and compelling design proposals.
  • Conduct detailed engineering analysis of equipment, components, and/or processes.
  • Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Provide on-the-ground support to the fabrication team during prototype development and manufacturing.
  • Prepare detailed mechanical drawings for manufacturing completed designs.
  • Oversee the project, meet deadlines and manage the flow of information.
