Responsibilities
  • Move tools, equipment and other materials.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Physical requirements: up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling; combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling; work under pressure; physically demanding outdoor work in dusty conditions.
  • Security clearance: Basic security clearance.
  • Transportation: Valid driver’s licence.
  • Personal suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability.
  • Own tools/equipment: Tools.
