Saskatchewan Air Ambulance, the oldest nonmilitary air ambulance service in North America, delivers 24/7 emergency medical air evacuation services, transporting more than 1,500 residents each year in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations and Government of Saskatchewan policies. Saskatchewan Air Ambulance is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with an M1 rating for a permanent full-time position based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Ministry is looking for a reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented professional who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a demanding operational environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, thorough, and capable of working evenings, weekends, and on call as required, as well as working at heights, in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions. Candidates must possess a valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence with an M1 rating issued by Transport Canada and recent experience on multiengine turboprop aircraft. Required knowledge includes Canadian Aviation Regulations, modern avionics and aircraft systems, environmental and structural inspection and repair, and electrical systems. Recent hands-on experience maintaining Beechcraft King Air B200 aircraft and Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engines is mandatory. Aircraft Certification Authority experience, powered mobile equipment operation, and specialized structures or avionics training are considered assets.
