The Marine Project Engineer is an integral part of a dynamic team. Your role involves planning and reviewing methodologies for activities related to LNG marine facilities, such as pile drilling, pile installation, substructure installation, module installation, and floating storage tank connections. You will be responsible for near-shore installation phases of projects. The successful candidate reports directly to the Project Manager Offshore and supports the company's senior management during the construction phase.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review plans for marine installation, track resources, and schedule durations. Collaborate with stakeholders to set objectives and define project scope.
- Review installation design and technical documentation for marine facilities.
- Ensure all engineering designs and construction meet safety, environmental, and BC regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to review vendor and equipment submittals, overseeing quality and delivery.
- Assist in the installation phase, ensuring activities align with approved designs, schedules, and safety protocols. Address issues as they arise.
- Maintain quality control to meet standards and specifications, interfacing with the quality team for compliance.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keep accurate project documentation, including reports and technical specifications.
- Promote safety and environmental best practices, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements :
- A degree in Marine, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in BC Marine Construction and nearshore work.
- Experience in project engineering within pile drilling and installation.
- Knowledge of bedrock casing installation, pile socket drilling, and remediation works.
- Familiarity with BC industry standards and codes.
- Understanding of marine construction processes and safety protocols.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project plans.
- Experience with marine nearshore contractor oversight.
