POSITION OVERVIEW

Imagine the excitement and ability to showcase your skills in a deployed environment (overseas) for six months managing the crucial retail warehouse for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and partner nations. As a deployed Warehouse Manager, you enhance the overall morale and welfare of all deployed troops.

The Warehouse Manager is part of an enthusiastic team of individuals who enjoy meaningful work and contribute in a team‑based, land‑based setting. You are a team player in a fast‑paced environment, able to adapt to new challenges in an ever‑changing dynamic setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Day‑to‑day management and operation of the warehouse, including developing business opportunities with local vendors and internal CFMWS retail resources.
  • Receiving and verifying delivery of merchandise, maintaining inventory records, producing accountability reports, preparing deposits, and supervising warehouse staff.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
  • College diploma or certificate in Business Management or a related field.
  • Canadian citizenship and a valid Canadian passport.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s licence (Class G or Class 5).
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
  • Management experience in a retail environment.
  • Experience delivering training to employees.
  • Experience in warehouse/logistics management.
  • Experience using point‑of‑sale systems and generating/analyzing reports.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS PRIOR TO DEPLOYMENT
