JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead a team of supply chain professionals and drive lifecycle procurement activities for systems, equipment, and materials supporting the River-class Destroyer program. This role is pivotal in ensuring safety, schedule adherence, cost optimization, and maximizing Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) where feasible. During the Design & Manufacturing (D&M) phase, you will play a critical role in achieving contract award delivery schedules, securing Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) for design maturity, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and materials to meet Required In Yard Dates (RIYD).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement robust, defensible procurement and supplier strategies.
  • Execution Excellence: Ensure procurement practices are consistent, compliant, and high-quality throughout the lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate effectively with internal teams to support strategy and execution.
  • Supplier Performance: Drive supplier engagement to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Optimize organizational design, foster employee engagement, and develop team competencies.
  • Reporting: Deliver structured and ad hoc management reports to support organizational transparency.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • SCMP designation is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of project management, change management, and contract management.
  • Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience, including 4-7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier performance and internal interfaces (estimating, demand planning, change management).
  • Expertise in contracting principles, competitive bidding law, and contract language.
  • Demonstrated success in leading projects involving scheduling, estimating, risk, and change management.
