Midland Transport is currently seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to be based out of our Head Office location in Dieppe, NB. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will develop and deliver comprehensive financial tools - such as budgets and forecasts - to support informed decision-making. This role will play a key part in planning and managing the annual budget process, as well as executing the monthly forecasting cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive financial tools to support informed decision‑making
  • Provide guidance in developing financial models for budgets, business proposals and growth opportunities while offering financial support and advice to other departments
  • Manage the financial planning team and coordinate the analysis of financial results and identification of business opportunities
  • Facilitate special projects to improve process efficiency and performance
  • Review and analyze the cost efficiency initiatives and projects
  • Support analysis on projects and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
  • Education: University Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
  • Experience: 7-10 years of combined financial planning and managerial experience required
  • CPA designation is required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving and prioritizing skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop team
