We are looking for a Manager to join our dynamic Downtown Montreal team.

You will lead KPMG's assurance teams and ensure the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients. Join a winning team!

What you will do
  • Oversee and manage various client assurance and tax engagements (Reviews & Compilations).
  • Manage engagements from planning to completion of statements and other deliverables.
  • Participate in implementing the group's business plan.
  • Coach, train and mentor assurance staff.
  • Work with Partners and various members of the Assurance practice to help them meet their goals and deliverables.
  • Apply KPMG's assurance and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.
What you bring to the role
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Canadian CPA designation.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
  • Previous experience with Reviews and Compilation Engagements
  • Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the business and develop strong relationships
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.
  • Team player with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong mentoring and performance management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Proficiency in English is required for this position. The successful candidate may be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders at KPMG Canada, located outside of Quebec. This necessitates the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English.
