A prominent sports organization in Ottawa is seeking a Manager, Communications to lead their communications strategy. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of progressive communications experience, exceptional bilingual skills, and a passion for sports. This role involves managing media relationships, drafting communications, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s objectives. Reporting to the President, Ottawa REDBLACKS and Ottawa 67’s, the Manager, Communications is responsible for leading and executing on the overall communications strategy. This role oversees all internal and external messaging, ensuring alignment with the team’s brand, values, and business objectives. This role will manage media relations and crisis communication to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation.
