Overview

Maligne Adventures is hiring a Wildlife Tour Guide for the Jasper, Alberta area. The role involves driving local roads in Jasper National Park to locate wildlife and provide commentary on the wildlife of the Canadian Rockies. A mentorship program is available, shadowing senior guides until you are comfortable taking the lead. A passion for nature, animals, photography and wild landscapes is an asset.

Employment Details

Location: Jasper, AB

Pay: $20–$25 per hour plus gratuities

Job types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary

Shifts: 12-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts; weekends as needed

Responsibilities
  • Drive local roads in Jasper National Park to locate wildlife and provide engaging tours focused on wildlife and the Canadian Rockies.
  • Deliver informative, safe, and entertaining commentary for guests.
  • Participate in a mentorship program shadowing senior guides until ready to lead tours.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid Class 4 drivers license (or provincial equivalent) or willingness to obtain.
  • Good working knowledge of wildlife and natural ecosystems; public speaking is an asset.
  • Training program provided by Maligne Adventures.
  • Passion for nature, animals, photography, and wild landscapes is an asset.
