Location: Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

Type: Full-Time, Rotational Shifts

Schedule: 12‑hour rotational shifts (Days/Nights - 4/5 schedule)

Bonuses
  • IPB: 0-9%
  • CPB: Determined annually

Role Summary

The Patrol Supervisor is a hands‑on leadership role embedded in either the Hot Rolling Mill or Finishing area. Responsible for ensuring smooth operation, quick response to breakdowns, and coordination of maintenance teams, this position demands technical excellence, quick decision‑making, and strong troubleshooting ability.

It’s ideal for candidates who thrive in fast‑paced, shift‑based industrial environments, leading skilled trades while maintaining equipment performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical or mechanical maintenance teams during rotational 12‑hour shifts
  • Troubleshoot electrical, automation, or mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate urgent repairs, maintenance planning, and production support
  • Read and interpret electrical or mechanical schematics to guide field teams
  • Maintain safety, compliance, and shift handover reporting
  • Support shutdowns, start‑ups, and on‑call operations
  • Liaise with cross‑functional departments to ensure equipment availability
