Job description

Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Coordinator. Reporting to the Team Leader, Planning & Scheduling, the Maintenance Coordinator will coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient and timely execution of preventative and predictive maintenance plans required for continued production of Lubricants products.

Job Duties
  • Screen new work notifications, prioritize work accordingly, identify scheduling requirements and coordinate support contractors working in consultation with the Operations Coordinator
  • Leads the prioritization of work notifications with the Cross Functional Team, identify priority work and consolidate associated corrective work on equipment outages
  • Ensures the identified regulatory and pressure integrity work is completed and remains in compliance
  • Ensures preventative work is completed to improve reliability and reduce the risk to the business
  • Manages the maintenance backlog risk on behalf of their Cross Functional Team (Includes T/A related scope)
  • Coordinates contractors through the contractor management program to ensure their scope is safely and effectively completed
  • Approve maintenance weekly and thirty-day schedules and communicate to operations accordingly, ensuring the right work is done at the right time
  • Plans and coordinate scope creep, break in and emergency work
  • Coordinates the development of the maintenance budget and monitors maintenance spending in their area to meet expected spend
  • Maintain a visible presence in the field to foster employee engagement and assess work process effectiveness
  • Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion
Experience
  • Five to ten years of experience in a refinery/petrochemical or heavy industrial environment
  • Experience planning and supervising Maintenance work is an asset
  • A valid trade license or a relevant technical degree/diploma is required

Work Conditions
  • This position is Safety Sensitive
  • Maybe required to work extended hours
  • Role can be fairly physical overseeing work in the units with walking and climbing ladders
  • 50 / 50 office and operating units outside
