Overview

As the Logistics Coordinator you will support and track supply chain operations through close collaboration with manufacturers, suppliers, vendors and retailers. Based onsite at PPG's Aerospace Toronto, ON location you will report to the Production & Shipping Supervisor. You will be a crucial part of our operations ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Join our team!

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify customer orders in the ERP system; prioritize orders with urgent dates.
  • Allocate items and process complete orders; track and manage orders on hold.
  • Prepare pick tickets and commercial invoices for shipping.
  • Request or remove credit holds; resolve credit issues with relevant teams.
  • Plan and track shipments for on-time delivery using logistics IT systems.
  • Support receiving and shipping functions to ensure timely and accurate operations.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service on order delays and shelf-life concerns.
  • Monitor MRP for stock availability and order fulfillment timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD) and IATA regulations.
  • Prepare reports for management and suggest process improvements.
  • Follow all safety standards and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift operation and ability to lift over 20 lbs.
  • Proficient in English with good communication skills.
  • Basic math skills including decimals, fractions, percentages and metric conversions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software; QAD and HMM experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of credit management, shipping documentation and customs procedures.
  • Familiarity with DGD and IATA regulations.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well with different teams.
