About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Logistics Analyst,in our Calgary office, to oversee day‑to‑day facility operations, truck and rail logistics, inventory management, month‑end reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role requires strong communication, analytical capability, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and external partners. You will play a key part in ensuring efficient facility performance and supporting new business and operational projects.

Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations
  • Coordinate daily truck plans with suppliers and field operations
  • Serve as a primary liaison with field operations to maintain alignment and address needs
  • Schedule truck plans with transportation carriers
  • Actively track railcar inventory and adjust truck and facility operating plans to optimize flow
  • Communicate railcar billing instructions with customers and complete accurate, timely railcar billing
  • Create and distribute railcar Bills of Lading (BOLs) in a timely manner
  • Maintain and track all operational and logistics data with accuracy
  • Continuously analyze operational trends and proactively forecast potential disruptions
Month-End Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain volumetric databases for all shipments and receipts
  • Review and approve all logistics‑related invoices
  • Update and maintain pricing database
  • Complete all required government volumetric reporting with precision and timelinessGenerate and distribute month‑end invoices
  • Prepare and distribute monthly operational performance reports
Process Improvement
  • Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Leverage available technology to implement time‑saving and process‑streamlining initiatives
Project Work
  • Lead or support process build‑outs and operational frameworks for new facilities
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or Engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret operational and logistics data
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and operational software tools (e.g., Excel, ERP/logistics systems, AI Utilization)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Self‑starter with an improvement mindset, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
