Qualifications

• 5+ years experience working in heavy industrial environments and with similar equipment.
• Experience in locomotive electrical and mechanical repairs is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Regular inspection of locomotives and diagnose issues.
• Performs required preventative maintenance services.
• Track all inspections and maintenance work performed.
• Establish daily and weekly schedules for locomotive maintenance.

Skills

Ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize workload

Understanding of materials purchasing and inventory management

General computer skills

Education

Minimum of five years’ experience in heavy industrial environments

Heavy Equipment Technician and/or Electrician with Red Seal certification
