The Information Technology team provides and supports cutting-edge technology infrastructure, delivering a range of products and services. Members of the team are constantly learning and seeking new ways to evolve and improve our mission-critical infrastructure. This team collaborates with all areas of the business to provide high-quality service delivery and exceptional project management in a cost-effective manner. We are currently looking for a Linux Engineer to join the team and support the firm’s complex infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that our production environment is operational. This role offers versatility in tasks and opportunities to work on various setups across our business.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with RedHat-based Linux distributions.
• Understanding of networking protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, NAT, DNS, NFS, etc.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux and application issues, with a proven ability to identify root causes.
• Proficiency with UNIX utilities and scripting languages like Python and shell scripting; experience with version control systems such as Git is preferred.
• Knowledge of automation, configuration management, and monitoring tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container technologies.
• Experience in financial services or low-latency environments is a plus.
• Windows Server administration skills are a plus.
