Qualifications

  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with BCCNM.

Overview

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Dawson Creek & District Hospital.

In accordance with established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model. The LPN, as part of the multidisciplinary team, provides care to persons experiencing substance use and mental health disorders. The LPN performs assessments, plan, implements and provided personal and nursing care under the direction of the Program Lead (or designate) or RN/RPN.

Shift Rotation/Hours of Work

Days, 08:00 to 19:12 (rotating)

Dawson Creek & District Hospital is a Full Service Community Hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 31 Acute Care beds and 15 Regional Adult Psychiatric Beds. Dawson Creek is the Orthopaedic Trauma and Surgical Centre for the Northeast Region of BC. Services include:
