An educational institution in Canada is seeking a Librarian to develop and manage library services and outreach programs for first-year students. The ideal candidate must hold a Master's degree in Library Science and have experience in academic libraries. This position offers a contract of 180 days and entails engaging with diverse student populations to enhance educational success.

SALARY: $51,250 – MASTER’S DEGREE
$55,800 – DOCTORATE DEGREE
*New faculty may receive up a 20% increase above the minimum base salary to recognize direct, job-related college teaching or other professional experience and/or extenuating labor market conditions, if requested by the recommending administrator and verified by Human Resources as justified.
The Librarian position supports the College’s mission and goals by developing, coordinating, providing, and reporting appropriate library services and resources to ensure students, faculty, and staff are able to effectively fulfill their educational, research and information needs. Requires a Master’s degree in Library Science or similar degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution.
Additionally, the preferred candidate will have experience in academic libraries in higher education and experience in developing and providing library instruction programs
