A leading educational institution in British Columbia is seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Lecturer in the School of Nursing. This role includes teaching nursing clinical skills, course planning, and supervising laboratory activities. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing and current RN credential. This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 per year and is available starting April 1, 2024.
The School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver campus, invites applications for one full-time non-tenure track faculty position at the Lecturer rank with expertise in nursing clinical skills lab and simulation education. The role will serve as the Skill Lab Coordinator for the School. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of reappointment subject to demonstrated excellence in teaching and funding availability. The successful candidate will be involved in teaching, course planning, laboratory teaching, orienting and guiding clinical instructors supporting the lab sections, collaborating with the simulation coordinator and the skills lab technicians to manage equipment inventory, supervising lab technicians in setting up and maintaining equipment, and providing service to the University, the School, and to the profession.

Salary will be commensurate with level of educational preparation and experience. Expected salary range: $100,000/year to $125,000/year.
