The Opportunity

We're looking to fill an opening for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join our Learning and Development team. The L&D Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the design, delivery, and administration of learning and talent management programs that drive employee engagement, advisor and employee development, and organizational effectiveness. This role ensures smooth execution of initiatives through administration related to learning and development, performance management, succession planning, advisor experience and employee experience.

  • Learning & Development: LMS administration, program logistics, reporting, and learner information support

What your day looks like
  • Learning Coordination: Schedule and manage logistics for training sessions, workshops, and webinars; liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Technology & Systems: Support the administration of talent management systems (e.g., LMS, performance platforms), troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
  • Program Support: Assist in the coordination and implementation of learning and talent management programs, including leadership development, succession planning, and performance management cycles.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate talent data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision‑making and program evaluation.
  • Communication: Draft and distribute program materials, guides, and communications to ensure clarity and engagement across the organization and Credit Union partners.
  • Employee Experience: Contribute to initiatives that enhance engagement and development opportunities for employees.
Requirements
  • Prefer minimum 1‑2 years of work experience in a similar support role.
  • Post‑secondary education in HR, learning or related field and asset.
  • Technically savvy with proficiency with HRIS/LMS systems and MS Office.
  • Professional, customer‑service focused disposition, willingness to go the extra mile for employees and partners.
  • Action oriented and proactive with problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Well organized, with the ability to manage competing deadlines by effective prioritization.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
  • Proactive, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and an ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Team player, with a flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Liaising cross‑functionally with other departments to provide reports / learner information as needed.
  • Generating relevant reports on course completion, attendance, etc.; adding / deleting new users, performing enrollments, updating records, etc.
  • Managing annual mandatory training calendar and reporting.
  • Support department‑wide audit coordination and ad hoc administration (formatting decks to branding guidelines).
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
