The Laundry Attendant is an integral part of the Laundry & Valet Team who collectively is responsible for the meticulous upkeep of all linens used throughout the hotel.
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the operation of sorter/dryer and is responsible for the proper sorting and drying of all washed linen. The Valet Attendant is responsible for the Folder which involves the pressing, ironing and folding of all linens for their preparation to be used in the hotel. They must be familiar with sizes and classifications of the various types of linen the hotel uses and informs the Housekeeping Manager of torn or damaged linen.
We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to multitask and prioritize is also essential for this position. The ability to use all laundry and pressing equipment to clean each and every linen request to Four Seasons standards is required. The individual must also be comfortable around industrial size Wash and Dry machines and have the ability to learn the operation. The Laundry Attendant position is physical by nature and requires the applicant to be able to lift at least 50lbs. Repetitive motion and movements are essential functions of this position. The ability to safely utilize the proper cleaning chemicals is also required. The Laundry Attendant is in direct contact with the entire Laundry/Valet team and strong communication skills are essential.
Successful candidates possess an open schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
Starting rate of pay of $23.63 and full rate of pay of $26.26
