Job description

PTW is hiring a Labourer to join our Calgary Mod Yard. If you are available, we want to hear from you!

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Ensures housekeeping is completed on an hourly basis in assigned area(s).
• Checks outdoor crates have been properly tarped, marked, and are placed on the appropriate dunnage.
• Places hazard warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby.
• Reports any observed damages to materials and/or equipment to the yard foreman.
• Ensures that grid patterns are clearly marked and updated for visibility.
• Verifies end caps on pipes are secured through daily inspection.
• Assist in shipping and receiving when needed.

Experience Requirements

• Experience as a General Labourer working on a construction site.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisor(s) to perform manual labour tasks (e.g. stacking up goods).
• Operates the forklifts and loaders where needed, if properly certified.
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated dedication.
• Ability to interface and communicate well with others. Understand and follow oral and written directions.

Additional Details

• Must have own transportation as facility is not accessible by public transportation.
• Must have CSA approved safety boots.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
