Salary: $1,875.00 to $2,618.00 bi-weekly
Education and Experience:
Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License as travel will be required.
Candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet these qualifications on their resumes.
This position is based in a busy, industrial lab setting where noise levels can be high. The successful candidate must be comfortable standing for extended periods.
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.
As part of the School of Engineering and reporting to the Academic Chair, the Laboratory Support is an important member of the academic team and supports students and faculty with a safe and effective learning environment. This position is responsible for maintaining all equipment, supplies and tools that are used in the Power Lab including ordering, replenishing, and ensuring inventory control. Using a variety of appropriate strategies, this position will strive to ensure that all safety rules and regulations are strictly adhered to in accordance with the NB Occupational Health & Safety Act and relevant manufacturer specifications.
