What You Will Do
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment by adhering to quality, biosafety, and sanitation programs.
  • Assist with processing client samples, preparing media, and sterilizing lab equipment.
  • Provide administrative support, including sample logging, phone calls, and email communications.
  • Support the team with inventory management, pool water testing, and other essential duties.
  • Promote safety and clear communication throughout the laboratory.
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in a related field is an asset).
  • Previous experience in a laboratory setting (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software and ability to handle administrative tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to strictly follow safety protocols and laboratory standards.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during laboratory work.
  • Capability to lift 50lbs and move laboratory supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory environment with exposure to chemicals and biological materials.
  • Comfortable with strong odors, high noise levels, and exposure to chemicals.
  • Manual dexterity for handling delicate instruments.
