Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
• Experience using Microsoft programs.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a MLA within the last 3 years in a Rural Zone laboratory or Urgent Care Centre Lab is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory.
• Responsible for procurement, handling, processing, and testing of specimens.
• Report results and perform laboratory functions.
