Job summary

A staffing agency in Toronto seeks a training facilitator for a critical initiative within a wealth business. The role includes developing training materials, delivering training both virtually and in-person, and evaluating program effectiveness. Ideal candidates have 5-7 years of experience and skills in facilitation, with a strong background in the banking or technology sectors. Bilingual candidates (French) are preferred.

Summary
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the training and facilitation of a highly visible initiative with the Wealth business.
  • Training content will include technical systems training, procedural training, and process training.
  • Training may be a combination of virtual and in-person, and will run concurrently on a weekly basis.
Additional job responsibilities include
  • Develop training procedure, manuals, guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.
  • Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness.
  • Assess additional training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups or consultation with managers.
  • Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
  • Meet with department leads and SME’s to determine training needs.
  • Present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
Must-Have Hard Skills
  • Facilitation skills (virtual and in -person)
  • Webex and engagement tools such as Slido
  • Working on large initiatives with multiple streams ( client facing & Operations)
Nice-To-Have
  • FI / Banking / Technology fields
  • Bilingual (French) (spoken)
  • Develop on the job and post training reference material such as user guides, demo video’s, etc
  • Experience with Thrive
