We’re on the hunt for a Kitting Coordinator on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

Role

Role : Ensure follow-up and availability of material, update the required traceability and documentation. Receives specific assignments with close supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Update material lists and material issue lists
  • Issue production orders, where applicable
  • Prepare kits and re-kits
  • Support traceability requirements (Tollgates, ECN implementation, etc.)
  • May assist scheduler and production controller as needed
  • Ensure parts are equipped and/or available on the floor according to manufacturing needs
  • Manage material according to Kanban
  • Ensure availability of bulk materials
Required Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Understanding of product nomenclature notions, planning concepts and one ERP system
  • Sense of urgency
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Accountability and responsibility
  • Some analytical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to interact efficiently
  • Customer focus (internal and external)
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changes
Education

Education : Diploma of professional or college studies in a related field.

Experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a purchasing, material and/or production planning environment
  • A combination of other pertinent education/experience could be considered
Linguistic Level

Linguistic Level : Knowledge of French and English is essential (Contact with customers outside Quebec and head office staff in Ontario).
