An Indigenous friendship organization is seeking a Program Support Worker to support the administration of Justice Services activities in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This role requires a strong knowledge of Indigenous culture and flexibility to work varying hours. Key responsibilities include assisting with file management and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and possess excellent communication skills. Salary is $50,000 per annum, with the position continuing until March 31, 2026.
The Program Support Worker is responsible for supporting the effective and efficient administration of Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre Justice Services activities and administration, in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures, including the planning, implementation, and administration of volunteer activities and services. The Program Support Worker will assist with TBIFC Justice Services file management systems, social media and communication systems, perform reception duties as needed, and will perform other duties as required. This position will collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team.
