This exciting opportunity will be responsible for overseeing property operations within the Berkshire and Westmount community. Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations and performance of a multi-site residential rental portfolio, ensuring high standards of service, asset care, and tenant satisfaction.
  • Lead, support, and supervise service and maintenance teams, promoting adherence to organizational standards, safety, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with Leasing, Marketing, Customer Experience, and internal stakeholders to support effective leasing processes, accurate communications, and resident engagement.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal, cleanliness, maintenance standards, and overall quality, providing updates and improvement recommendations.
  • Utilize technology (including Salesforce) to manage work orders, streamline operations, and improve service delivery and employee engagement.
  • Support financial and administrative functions, including budgeting, variance reporting, contract management, invoicing, and resident communications.
  • Oversee compliance with health, safety, fire code, and regulatory requirements, including seasonal pool operations and sustainability initiatives.
  • Organize and promote resident programs, amenities, and events to foster community engagement and enhance the resident experience.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in property management or a related field, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations, including the Residential Tenancies Act, Ontario Fire Code, OHSA, and Ontario Regulation 565-Public Pools.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM/property management systems; intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a hands-on, collaborative approach to supporting teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with effective problem-solving, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of financial management and budgeting, with a willingness to further develop in this area.
  • Experience supporting resident events, community engagement initiatives, and health and safety programs; CPO certification considered an asset.
  • Flexible availability, including on-call or after-hours support as required, and possession of a valid driver’s licence with access to a reliable vehicle.
