Overview

Role: Junior Cost Analyst
Location of Services: Dunsmuir - in office 2 days per week
Contract Duration: October 14th 2025 - April 14th 2026
Max T4 Rate: $30.45

Responsibilities
  • A minimum two (2) years of project costing experience or equivalent.
  • Review the project’s financial performance by providing project and costing support while collaborating with project managers, schedulers, and the rest of the project team to meet quality, time, and budget goals.
  • Monitor the financial performance of projects using intermediate skills in project management, cost monitoring systems, accounting processes, and contract administration so that projects are implemented as planned.
  • Create reports of relevant findings and recommendations by using advanced skills in computer applications such as SAP, business intelligence software, and supply chain management systems enabling timely progression of projects.
  • Deliver regular financial reports to stakeholders using intermediate skills in MS Office and excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to support strategic decision making.
Education and Skills
  • Management Certificate in Professional Accounting or equivalent
  • Project management courses or equivalent
  • Advanced skills in computer applications such as SAP, business intelligence software such as Business Warehouse, and supply chain management systems such as Passport
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
Work Assignment Requirements
  • Advanced skills in computer applications
  • Management Certificate in Professional Accounting or equivalent certificate from an accredited Institute of Technology or other post-secondary institution, and project management courses from an accredited institution or equivalent
  • Project management experience.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience and exposure to project costing support in a project management environment requiring working knowledge of accounting and financial procedures and processes of project management.
  • Requires demonstrated proficiency in SAP.
