  • Program automated systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, operator interfaces)
  • Develop and maintain solid client relationships
  • Participate in executing detailed engineering projects
  • Draft technical documents, calculation notes and study reports
  • Participate in project management (execution, costs, schedules)
  • Attend internal or client coordination meetings
  • Perform site surveys
  • Assist with equipment commissioning, both onsite and remotely

Summary of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or automated production engineering or any other equivalent training
  • Member of a Canadian professional engineering association
  • Available for short- and long-term work assignments at client locations or sites
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects
  • Asset: interest or relevant experience in automation and instrumentation; participation in detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors
  • Asset: experience in the mining sector
  • Asset: ASPConstruction card
