This course (JSGS 834) Financial Management in Health Care Organizations covers the financial management function in health care organizations including operating and capital budgeting processes along with budgetary and financial controls. There will be extensive use of financial analysis tools for the health care organization, and skills needed to develop basic finance and accounting foundations will be reviewed during the course.
You will develop an online version of JSGS 834 – with the support of an instructional designer at the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Regina. It is expected that the content will be relevant for a three to five year period.
Must possess relevant Masters Degree. PHD preferred.
