Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls across multiple commercial sites, diagnosing plumbing and mechanical system issues.
• Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, backflow devices, fixtures, and heating systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as pumps, valves, hot water systems, boilers, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Assess job requirements on-site and provide accurate recommendations, repair strategies, and timelines.
• Communicate clearly with clients, providing updates, explaining issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with other trades, site supervisors, and internal team members to coordinate work safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Ensure all work meets code requirements and company quality standards.
• Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and documentation.
• Operate and maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and safe work practices.

Education

• Journeyman Plumber certification is required.

Qualifications
