Production Designer – Two Families Theatre

Two Families Theatre is seeking to hire an Equity or non-Equity Production Designer (responsible for set, props, costumes, and lighting) for a Spring tour between Alberta and the Yukon of the highly-acclaimed new work, Talk Treaty to Me.

This paid opportunity is ideal for those who are eager to take initiative and:

• Are familiar with and knowledgeable about Indigenous theatre
• Can create effective minimalist designs that can be integrated into diverse theatre spaces (Design must be able to tour)
• Is resourceful with a limited budget
• Drives and is Alberta-based

Priority will be given to Indigenous applicants.

Application deadline is: 12:00pm MST, Monday, February 24, 2025
Interviews will be held virtually on February 25-26
The contract will be offered on February 28, 2025 and will run from March 3, 2025 – June 30, 2025 with the potential for contract extension.

The successful applicant will receive a signing fee and design fees as part of their compensation.
