Overview

Pursuit Collection – Jasper, AB. $20 an hour. Seasonal, Full-time.

Your daily pursuit is preparing flavorful dishes that fuel our guests' adventures, using fresh, local ingredients to bring a taste of the region to every plate.

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Wash, peel and cut vegetables.
  • Clean and cut meat, fish and poultry.
  • Maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen areas and dining areas. Ensure work environment is safe and free of hazards.
  • Prepare, season, and cook foods such as soups, salads, meat, fish, gravies, vegetables, desserts, sauces and casseroles according to prescribed recipes.
  • Carve meat, prepare portions on plates, and add gravies, sauces and garnish to servings.
  • Prepare any special dietary dishes as required.
  • Stocking and maintenance of product level as directed by the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
  • Communicating with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous cooking experience required.
  • Completion of a culinary certificate or equivalent in work experience, an asset.
  • Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated.
  • Highly organized with a great sense of attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment at a high altitude. Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail) as the restaurant is at the top of Whistlers Mountain!
