Reporting to the Director, Policy Planning & Communication, the Iviqtippalliajut Implementation Advisor coordinates department-specific elements of implementing Iviqtippalliajut, the Government of Nunavut’s framework for Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit (IQ) and Inuit Societal Values (ISV). The Advisor provides a roadmap to embed Inuit societal values in government operations, empower Inuit public servants, ensure policies and services reflect ISV, foster collaboration among departments, create a welcoming workplace, and deliver culturally appropriate programs. The incumbent will establish measures to make IQ/ISV the foundation for GN workplaces, policy and program development, and service delivery.
