Posting will close Feb 17, 2026. Location is flexible within Alberta, dependent on the successful applicant. However, periodically it may be asked to work in other AFSC branches. Travel in these circumstances will be reimbursed according to AFSC’s Employee and Board of Directors Expense Policy.
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Security, the IT Security Analyst – Vulnerability & Awareness is responsible for maintaining, evolving, and strengthening AFSC’s information security practices, with a primary focus on vulnerability management and security awareness.
In this role, you will proactively identify and evaluate information security risks, assess the impact of vulnerabilities and system changes, and work collaboratively with technical teams and business partners to implement security practices that align with AFSC’s policies, standards, and strategic risk posture.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical security work with education, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while contributing to the protection of systems that support Alberta’s agriculture industry.
