Overview
Story Behind the Need: The Client Primacy & Personalization team is responsible for ideation, design, engineering, and implementation of software for the Personalization domain. Project: This role sits within the MarTech Engineering team and supports the delivery of enterprise-scale personalization initiatives across digital and offline channels. The contractor will lead cross-functional delivery efforts across GTM technology, marketing and sales enablement programs, and engineering support for personalized customer experiences.

Typical Day in Role
- This role is the Hiring Manager’s “Right hand” person
- Works very closely together with the HM to manage the squad, resources and deliverables
- Not a typical SDLC environment, more of complex use cases, and keeping an eye on stakeholders and delivery
- Lead the delivery of complex, multi-channel personalization programs across digital and assisted channels.
- Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, analytics, and vendor partners to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
- Drive agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming with a focus on business outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and success metrics for MarTech initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and data governance standards throughout delivery.
- Provide delivery oversight and remove blockers to enable team velocity and alignment.
- Support engineering teams working on platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform (AJO, RT-CDP, Target), Pega CDH, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Champion continuous improvement and delivery excellence across the MarTech portfolio.
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills
- 10+ years of experience in project/program delivery management within large enterprises, preferably in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, telecom).
- 5+ years’ proven track record of delivering personalization and GTM/MarTech technologies programs
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive alignment across business and technical teams.
Nice-To-Have Skills
- Experience working with MarTech platforms including Adobe Experience Platform (AJO, RT-CDP, Target), Pega CDH, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud – strong asset
- Experience with Agile methodologies; Scrum experience preferred.
- Familiarity with compliance, privacy, and data governance frameworks.
- People management skills/experience

Education
Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree nice to have – technical/relevant field
Best vs. Average Candidate
- The ideal candidate brings deep experience in regulated industries, agile delivery, and a strong understanding of modern MarTech platforms.
- This is a mix of program and delivery manager type of role, not clear cut program/project management as related to title, as they will need to lead the delivery of personalization program so looking for candidates who have strong delivery management experience paired with some PM skills.
- Ideally someone who is very savvy with stakeholders (lots of visibility with stakeholders for this one unlike the fingers to keys resources they usually look for).
- Communication is paramount here, the HM needs consistent and clear communication.
- The current person in the role is both a certified scrum master and brings agile principles to the team, but also has program and project management experience helping to deliver key releases and implementations across multiple teams and resources (delivery management).
- They have over 10 years of experience, and have worked at large organizations and managed teams of over 50+, often helping the manager manage the development team.
- Note: HM is not looking for the exact same profile; personalization/MarTech experience is preferred but not required.
